  1. Keep in mind, regarding vocabulary, that most of these words have already been given. Remember, repitition is key, especially when dealing with vocabulary words. Every word will not on the test, but several will be used as opportunities as bonus!!

    ReplyDelete
  2. Also, students are only supposed to learn/define seven NEW words per night.

  3. Parents, I've had to adjust the vocabulary for this week. While trying to create the test I had an issue. Therefore, students will have this week and the weekend to study for their vocabulary. I will update the list soon!! Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding this important matter. :~)

  4. Thank you for getting the blog up and running. Looks great. I am concerned however, regarding the vocabulary words. I thought you were going to supply a standard definition so there would be consistency among the children's definitions and any tests expectations. Or will you be reviewing their definitions in class so corrections can be made, to get everyone more in line with what the tests will be looking for?

    1. Thank you for posting and for checking out our blog! :~) Last week the students were asked to chose 15 words to define and any words extra would be considered BONUS for their spelling test. I have since updated the vocabulary section to make it easier for the students. Their spelling/vocabulary test will be Thursday since we don't have school on this Friday.
